It’s no secret us Torontonians live for patio season. Those brief few months of drinking cocktails while the sun kisses your skin (SPF 90 please!) are bliss. So what better a city for BACARDI to celebrate their 150th birthday than Toronto?
The world-famous rum brand will be taking over Toronto’s Distillery Historic District and transforming it into the “largest licensed outdoor patio” in Toronto for a three-day public festival with live music, contesting, dancing, local artisans, vendors, sampling and curated menus.
Not in Toronto? Don’t worry similar events are also taking place in Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal.
“The Festival Libre concept is interactive, fun and offers the community a new sense of culture. As Canada’s premier arts, culture and entertainment destination we, at Toronto’s Distillery Historic District, felt this was a perfect fit. We invite the community to experience new ideas, new foods, and new ways of living,” said Mathew Rosenblatt, Partner, The Distillery Historic District.
